Description: The berries of Sumac are diuretic, help reduce fever, and may be of use in type 2 diabetes. The berries are also astringent and can be used as a gargle for both mouth and throat complaints.

Preparation: Decoction- add 1-2 tbsp of berries to water and bring to a boil then lower heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes
